Public works should be built once, and built right.

A road, a drain or a classroom is used by thousands of people. When it is built properly, it serves the community for years without trouble.

That is the standard we work to on every job. We read the drawings and specifications carefully, use approved materials, supervise our sites in person and keep clear records, so the engineer in charge, the department and the community all get the work they were promised.

A Message from Our CEO

Every road we pave and every classroom we build will be used by people we know: our neighbours, their children, the farmers taking crops to market. That is why I take every work personally.

I started M/S Shahida Traders with a simple commitment: when we are trusted with public work, the public should be able to see the value in what we build. That means no shortcuts on materials, no compromise on specifications and no excuses on deadlines.

Our works may be local, but our standards are not small. I still visit our sites, check the work and speak with the engineers and community members myself. Our reputation has been built one work at a time, and we protect it on every job.

Thank you for your interest in M/S Shahida Traders. We look forward to serving your department, your institution and your community.

Emran Hossain Chief Executive Officer, M/S Shahida Traders

Working With Us

How We Deliver Public Works

A closer look at how we plan, build and control quality on the works entrusted to us.

Planning

Before the First Brick: How We Prepare Every Work

Good public works are won on site, not on paper. Careful preparation is what keeps a work on time and within specification.

  • We study the drawings, estimate and specifications in detail before mobilising.
  • Site conditions, access and seasonal water levels are checked in advance.
  • Materials are arranged early from approved sources so work never stops for supply.
  • A clear schedule is set for each stage, with extra planning for the monsoon.
Quality

Quality Control on Our Sites

Quality is not checked at the end. It is built in at every stage of the work.

  • Bricks, cement, rods, sand and aggregates come from approved sources and are tested as required.
  • Mix ratios, curing times and compaction are followed as specified.
  • Each stage is checked before the next begins, with the engineer in charge where required.
  • Daily records of work and materials are kept on site.
Institutions

For Schools and Institutions: Planning a Repair or Extension

School and institution works happen while people are using the premises. Planning around them matters as much as the construction itself.

  • We plan noisy and heavy work around class and office hours where possible.
  • Work areas are fenced off to keep students, staff and visitors safe.
  • Extensions are checked against the existing structure before work begins.
  • Sites are kept clean and are handed over ready for immediate use.
